Erik makes a good point in his comment below. We're down a pitcher and a captain. We need to pull together in this time of crisis and also figure out who the hell is going to roll the ball at the other team. Suggestions, anyone?

Ok, just to clear some things up:
(1) I didn't design the layout or look of this blog. It's one of the templates you can choose from. That's not to say that I couldn't, but I'm lazy and it looked like a pretty fitting template for Rambo. I'll be making changes when I delazify later in the season.
(2) You can post pictures in blogs, but they need to be on the internet already. It's actually really easy to go tohttp://www.flickr.com, set up an account, upload your pictures and then click on the orange "B" button next to the picture to post them to the firstballs site.
(3) Has anyone else accidentally typed "fistballs" instead of "firstballs"? I did earlier and thought it was really, really funny.

So, yeah, I would also like to extend my best to those leaving Rambo...I'm not only sad, but a little nervous, especially since its our Captain and pitcher who are leaving....but speaking as the best catcher on the team, I think we can still manage to not lose all of the remaining games. Right?

I smell a sequel....

Now, we have won the first game of the season.... we need only 3 more, and it will have been a record season!!!
I would also like to say that I have lost the napkin. I know, it is very hard to handle, but I'll bring a new napkin next week. If you have pics, post them. We need to share the glory that is Rambo with the world!!

We Win!

2-0 First Balls! A shutout, nonetheless. There won't be much gloating, as we proceeded to lose to the same team in Flip Cups... again by 2 points. Apparently, everybody wins by 2 tonight.
Erik celebrated by releasing food from his mouth:

For those who played their last games with the team for the season: you'll be missed greatly, but will give us a reason to update this site so that you can see how.. umm.. well we're doing.. at drinking... after the games.

I wouldn't say that we "won" our first game. 12-3 against some other team that really didn't deserve it.
