Still Readin'

I just thought I'd check to see if the blog was still alive and I think it is.... with a very weak pulse.
But here are two things: The banana bread is the work of Esmeralda. She is a champ of making something good out of semi-rotten fruit.
The second is that I am starting a new gig on Monday. It wasn't official when I saw some of you , but it is now. I will be working for a company called The Century Council (www.centurycouncil.org) So I thought I would re-energize the blog with this info.
that's all I got. It takes a lot of work to get ready to leave a job, so I better get back at it.
